The theme of this year’s World Hypertension Day 2014 was “Know Your Blood Pressure”. FHTS organized a camp in MDC-5 Panchkula, in which blood pressure of the people was checked and those having high or low Blood Pressure were enrolled for free diet counselling. Camp was organised in the commercial complex with the motive to make working people aware of the risk of Hypertension, although most of the people attending this camp were educated but due to lack of time they don’t get their blood pressure checked regularly.  66 people were screened for blood pressure.

The primary intention of the camp was to raise awareness about severity of these conditions with emphasis on lifestyle modification for prevention and better management of individual health.                                                                         With our aim to reach people from all walks of life across the globe, this camp was just a charity began at home!
