The FHTS Office of Public Health Career Counselling is created with an aim to provide public health career counselling, support and direction tailored to and vested in the best interests of individuals; individuals with:
• An inclination towards public health advancement
• A deep rooted belief to bring a change for the better health of the population
• A desire to explore what promises public health education can make for their career
• An aptitude to seek out and discover if public health was meant for them and they for public health
Hence, providing multiple and targeted career services for individuals who want to pursue their career in public health and also those who wish to enhance their existing career in public health is a relentless purpose of the Office. In pursuit of this purpose, our career research experts have laid down the following strategic career support services which are based on the foundation of a systematic needs based approach to every individual:

• Elective skill development strategies and training
FHTS Career Enhancement Experts take a systematic route to help you reach a decision which will encompass:
• A thorough situational analysis of the interests, strengths, opportunities, requirements and expectations of the individual interpreted in measurable and weighted terms.
• An access to the career repository to lay out public health career choices thought to be best suited for the individual based on the exploratory analysis.
• Our network and collaborations with public health schools and institutes, course coordinators, faculty and alumni, current students and their parents ensure that we provide you with comprehensive and unbiased viewpoints and opinions to assist you in reaching a decision.
• You will also be invited to evaluate these services and their use and effect on your career decision.
• Throughout this process, an electronic personalized database will be created to design a Personalized Individual Action Plan.
